POSITION: FOREIGN CREDENTIAL EVALUATOR
Josef Silny & Associates, Inc., International Education Consultants (JS&A) is seeking to fill an entry level position of Foreign Credential Evaluator. Established in 1987, JS&A is an organization of highly qualified international education consultants. JS&A evaluates foreign academic credentials from more than 150 countries for admission and transfer into U.S. high schools and institutions of higher education, immigration, licensing, employment, and a variety of other reasons. In addition, JS&A offers a professional translation service. Josef Silny is the former Director of International Admissions at the University of Miami.
The candidate for this position, which is currently available, must have at least a bachelor's degree in international studies or related major and must be authorized to work in the United States. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and knowledge of another language is highly desirable. Good typing skills are necessary and knowledge of Microsoft Word is desirable. The ideal candidate has good organizational skills, works well independently, is interested in other cultures, is detail-oriented, is intellectually curious, and has studied abroad.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience in the field of foreign credential evaluation. Salary for individuals with no experience in the field is $30,000.
